Welcome to one of Sydney's most iconic tourist attractions and it's easy to see why. The weekends during the summer months between November and March, this suburb is heaving with people all out to bask in the glorious sun, build sandcastles with the kids and swim in 25C crystal clear waters. This is none other than Bondi Beach. 

I booked the Hotel Bondi. Certainly not 5 star. My room was small, comfortable but quite pricey, coming in on the higher end of the scale at around AU$250/night. 

I stayed here for my final night before flying back to London the next day so for lunch I devoured a plate of the freshest fish and chips ever and for dinner, a pint of local beer and a delicious plate of fresh and cooked seafood including prawns, calamari and Sydney rock oysters.
