Planes, Trains and Uber

As many of you know, Australia is huge in comparison to the UK. In fact, the land mass of the UK squeezes into Australia 33 times over. The UK is roughly the same size as the state of Victoria.

To get around this vast country, you really only have a few options, particularly if you want to get where you want to go quickly...or cheaply.

You can drive but you're reading this article by someone who has never had a drivers licence so all my travel is done via other means, walking and cycling being my main methods of transport to get around locally and for everything else there is trains, planes or Uber.

Air travel is by far the fastest and often the cheapest but travel by rail is also a great alternative for those not in a hurry and want to see the countryside. Trains offer passengers the chance to see more of what this great country has to offer.
