Citadines Connect
If you're like me, I hate rushing, especially when I need to fly to a new destination. As such, I prefer to book myself into an airport hotel prior to my flight...usually the following day. Or if I'm flying into Sydney from abroad, then, depending on the time of my arrival, I like to book into a hotel so I can catch up on some sleep before tackling my onward journey the following day.
I do a lot of flying, mainly interstate to see friends and family but also intercontinental travel between Australia and the UK.
I have sampled many of the airport hotels but I have listed a few of my favourite hotels.
Citadines however is my preferred hotel for quick overnight stays before or after flying. It's the most comfortable, the most convenient and offers the best value for money even over some of the 3 star hotels.
4 Star Hotel
By far the best I've stayed in to date is this hotel. It's a fairly new hotel so everything is fresh. The rooms are divided up into sections, aptly named Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First Class.
Unlike most other hotels in the vicinity, this one has the reception, restaurant and bar located on the very top floor.
I've stayed in 3 of the 4 room types, economy, premium economy and business.
The only real difference between them (apart from price) is their size with the business class suite located on higher floors in the corner of the hotel, offering unparalleled views of the airport.
