Dunsley Hall

Dunsley Hall Hotel

Dunsley, near Kinver

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times when I wanted a night off the boat. Built in the 13th century, it's been upgraded by various owners over time. At the start of the 21st century, it was converted into a hotel.

At the time I visited, I was still living in my little cruiser boat so being able to enjoy a few creature comforts on occasion was well received and appreciated, except on one occasion when the hot water didn't work. After complaining, I was upgraded to the room you see on the left, their Honeymoon Suite, complete with spa bath.

Adjacent to the hotel is a steakhouse restaurant, Harley's Smokehouse and Grill, serving up a delightful meal and drinks.
