The Stamford Plaza is one of the oldest hotels at the aiport. While still rated 5 star, it is looking a bit tired and is rather dated and could use a facelift. However, the room was nice, the bed was comfortable and it served my purpose before boarding my flight back to the UK. 

Despite it looking a bit dated, it's one of the few hotels at the airport that offer an outdoor swimming pool, which is ideal after a hot summers day. 

I often find the use of a pool helps recover from jet lag, even though on this occasion I was using the hotel before flying back to the UK.
