Kinver

County of Staffordshire, England

Over the hill to the west side of Birmingham lies this quaint little village on the Staffordshire and Worcestshire canal called Kinver. About 10 minutes walk from the town itself are these 250 million year old rock formations and inside one of the last remaining "cave style" housing, peoples homes until about the 1950's, ending a 400 year old history of the "Rock Caves" at Kinver Edge.

Enjoying some time off the boat, I stayed in a converted manor house built in the 13th century. It was converted into a hotel at the beginning of the 21st century. See the full article on my Accommodation page.
